Initial Report: Train Derailment near Muleshoe, TX (Slaton Subdivision)

On Tuesday, September 17 at approximately 9:45 p.m. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near Muleshoe, TX, which affected the main track. Muleshoe, TX is approximately 69 miles Northwest of Lubbock, TX. BNSF personnel are responding to assess the affected area. The estimated time for opening the main track has not been determined at this time.
